  • How cool would it be to be assist in one of the most adrenalin-driven events in a cross-cultural setting?


  • Our ministry objective is to identify, recruit and resource a young generation of future leaders in order to minister to the spiritual needs of Germany. New Wineskins for new wine. The goal is not new, but the platform is a radical experiment.

    During the one day event on August 23, Revofest will invite young people from 18-25 years of age to join us for a energy-filled event. The Sunday evening we present top concert talent to inspire. Sunday morning we will hold a special Service on site and in the afternoon there are numerous workshops and seminars designed to expose a young generation to the need and provide a challenge to participate in becoming the solution to reaching a needy culture with the Gospel of a risen Christ.

    We need over 70 people to assist us in a variety of tasks from preparing the site on the Saturday (August 22nd), running the event on the Sunday, to tearing everything down Sunday night / Monday morning.

    No charade necessary.
    In that most of our group leaders are proficient in English. Tasks and assignments will be easy to understand.

    Room and board.
    Here is the deal of a lifetime: You purchase the ticket to get to Germany, bring a couple hundred bucks for spending money, we will provide you a place to stay and food while you are here. We promise that you will get more than Sauerkraut for breakfast. Promise. Maybe.

    You will stay in a tent on site during the event. Facilities – showers and toilets – are on site. Hopefully there will be warm water available.

    Dates
    We need those that can assist us in this event to be on site from Saturday, August 22 through Monday, August 24.

    Weather and dress code
    Temps will be in the low 40s Fahrenheit and in the low 60s during the day. The event itself will be indoors and with up to 1100 people attending, it could get quite warm. It may therefore be advisable for you to keep a second set of clothes at hand. Casual dress, layering, would be suggested. Bring closes that you are not afraid to get dirty.

    We will provide you a staff T-shirt that will designate you as event staff.

    Application
    By law we need applicants to be above 16 years of age, unless parents sign a waiver of responsibility. Apply via email in order for us to prepare for your arrival and stay by June 1, 2009. Workers must be physically able, mentally stable and bring a team spirit.


    Individual service division is organized by a representative who is responsible for the duties and training. Further information will be provided directly by that representative.


    Catering
    Overview: Sales from food items and drinks, assisting in preparation, delivery, cleaning
    Personel required: 75 people


    Camping Management
    Overview: Organising and logistical assistance (showers, toilets, ...), campsite construction, information services for campers, nightwatch and security, campsite cleaning during the festival
    Personel required: 8 people


    First Aid
    Overview: Assisting participants, treating minor injuries and sickness. Generally responsibilities will be to access and aid in securing proper treatment.
    Personel required: 8 people


    Logistics & Services
    Overview: Transport, assisting in construction and repairs, site preparation and removal, fencing assembly and removal
    Personel required: 70 people


    Marketing
    Overview: Website, Emails, Interviews, Press representative, Graphic design
    Personel required: 7 people


    Information services
    Overview: Site steward, Contact services for participants, Information desk
    Personel required: 12 people


    Site Stewards
    Overview: Transportation, Trash service, general logistics
    Personel required: 12 people


    Administrative services
    Overview: Copying, Database entry, diverse administrative and computer duties, telephone services, registration
    Personel required: 8 people


    Technical services
    Overview: Equipment assembly - Lighting, Stage, Audio, Video. Camera, video, design, producing. Specific requirements for video delivery demand that proper restrictions are conveyed - contact the service representative.
    Personel required: 18 people


    Foreign guest services
    Overview: Assisting foreign-language guests. English is a requirement.
    Personel required: 4 people


    Counseling
    Overview: Counseling during the various activities and at various venues.
    Personel required: 6 people

    Security
    Overview: In conjuction with a hired security team, various aspects of security will provide for a safe atmosphere.
